About to finish reading Blue Dragon and just about to start my night read Small Shen both by Kylie Chan.
It's a fantasy novel based around chinese gods and mythology, it has a nice pattern to it, not too dark that your left with an aching heart, but not too light that it makes you sick of reading it.
More for a mature reader who likes a bit of fantasy in real life and huge doses of humour and laughs inbetween the mayhem and normal daily routine.

reading quite a few actually:
I recently bought 'How We Are Hungry' by Dave Eggers
that's a book of short stories, and i'm enjoying it so far.
Then I'm reading 'The Hobbit' by JRR Tolkien
It's a long read, but hopefully I'll finish it soon.
After I'm finished with those two, I'll be reading '1Q84' by Haruki Murakami.
Then I put 'The Prisoner of Heaven' by Carlos Ruiz Zafon on hold.
