Batman likes Case Closed in the manga/anime. She doesn't know how to read much but she knows certain words and I do help her read more, but for now it's just Case Closed.

Aha, man, it's all good! I mean, sometimes there's a lot of content or focus on certain areas that things accidentally get left out. In my case, sometimes neglected as well. XD;

HxH had a slow start. The first arc (hunter exam) wasn't bad, but the whole process to get there wasn't as interesting to me, and the exam itself was...alright. It did the job of setting the main characters up. My favorite arcs took place a while after, with different types of characters and conflicts. It seems like I enjoy the strategy and battle type stories in it the most, but overall, it's still interesting.

Aye, I found it so cute that they got married. I think it's nice when people of common interests get together. Opposites may attract, but you still have gotta have some commonality.

Ooh, I see. When I was about five or so, I really liked Ekusung. It was a story about a boy who was a monk, and how he would solve problems in a past Japan (not sure what era; I barely remember the story).


Phew, I just got back from getting my White Elephant gift! I actually went back to the collector's store because I wanted to open the One Piece box that I had originally bought to gift away. XD; I browsed there a bit, and then decided on a Harry Potter keychain (they were packaged so the characters were randomized. I bought two, and when I opened one just now (the other is going to be the White Elephant gift), I got Hermione! There were 11 possible characters, so for me to get one who I am often related to (strong morals and love of learning), I'm really happy. Of course, I would've been happy with just about anyone, aha. The guy who worked there also gave me a coupon for $5 discount next time I go. OWO Very excited, but I'm not sure when I'll next use it...

I asked the owner about comics, since my brother recently got into Dark Knight Metal, but he doesn't sell many comics; he recommended I hit a comic book store some blocks down instead. I checked the place out and bought two comics my brother enjoyed.

Then I stopped by a Starbucks. And then I went to an art store/gallery. They were having a Final Fantasy promotion/gallery where fans could decorate one wall with colored sticky notes that came together to look like pixellated chocobos. Aha, I drew a moogle and made a comment about FFIX. Aaaand now I'm back home. :3

Yeah. I'm working on Giant Wars, but I'm a bit stuck. I have the Sky kingdom Kya meaning diamond in the sky. But now I have no idea if the enemies are going to be sky giants too or what. I don't want fire, they have to be close enough to fight. Ugh! Every time I get stuck on a story I move to a different one to help and I'm stuck again.

Ah. Interesting.

Yeah, it was pretty busy. XD I wouldn't have mine getting Luna, Dumbledore, or maaaybe Harry either, but I would've considered trading for others. The only one I'm opposed to is Ron, but I just dislike his character.

I also need to find time to decorate more little cases for all my new figurines. I made one for Zoro and Sanji, but I need at least three more cases for the rest of the One Piece cast.

How do you decorate your cases?

Yep. Grandpa and Grandma say no presents until Christmas day. We did give her an early one which was a Batman hat and mittens which she loves. There was a school gift shop and she bought me a couple presents. One of her teachers bought them for her so she could get them for me. I don't know what they are because I promised not to open them till Christmas day too. But I already love them. She has some real nice teachers. She was sad that she couldn't buy me anything else and I told her don't be they're the best Christmas presents ever! This kid's gonna break my heart. She does her best and her best is best.

Edit: I just checked out some of the Christmas bags from the family that adopted us, there's shoes and boots for her and lip balm and a stuffed elephant and what looks like a Disney Tangled Toy, and it looks like I got some things too. And one package I picked up, is heavy. I will be opening that one, just in case.

I bought a bulk of 20 plastic "display cases" that were originally meant to be for Funko figurines. I mostly like to print nice backgrounds and use construction paper for the "floor" so that the small toys, figurines, and plushes that I put in there look like they have their own little rooms.

I'm putting Zoro and Sanji together, Robin and Nami, Franky, and Brook and Chopper. I also have other One Piece figurines that I need to get around making boxes for as well.

Aha, all I ever want to do now is play BotW. I'm doing pretty well on it; I haven't done much on the main quests yet, but I'm getting a lot of little things done (like collecting and upgrading armor, and hitting up all the shrines).

Aha, nice. I'm a casual HP fan. I haven't finished the book or movie series, but I like many of the concepts and world-building aspects of the series.

Hmm, I wonder if there's anything I actively collect or enjoy based on the cuteness factor. I think those things tend to be more like my woodland themed collection (of deers, foxes, and owls), rather than something from a series.

I put backgrounds into my cases and add small items or accents as decoration. For example, one dragon plushie is set in an Asian-themed background (it's the architecture) with small piles of "gold" (it's just gold coins) and fake gems and plastic pearls. Another dragon plush is set in a more forested city, with two pairs of MTG dice (one from a special set, one 24-sided dice).

I also have other little things I can add for other boxes, like fake bones (they're bone-shaped erasers) for a customized African Wild Dog box, or small gift box and drums that I saved from old Christmas ornaments. I have a box full of random stuff that I pull from, basically. XD;

I'm in the middle of slowly cleaning my shelf, but I can send a pic when I'm done.

My daughter is going to be even more happier. My siblings and their children are visiting this Christmas. I think one is coming on Eve and the other Day. Not 100% sure. My sister's fiance is working Christmas Day so they may come earlier. But my brother says he and his family are coming Day.

Though they won't be staying for dinner they at least will be visiting and my daughter can't wait. She loves her family so much!
