I feel like if you're doing it for religious/cultural reasons that you should be able to eat meat when there's no other food. Like your religion/culture shouldn't want you to suffer from hunger pains.

But shouldn't the leaders or whatever care more for their people? Instead of sticking to their principles or whatever they should be more worried about their people being alive and healthy.
And I don't mean like daily breaking religious customs for fun. But if there's no food that's kosher or halal or something along those lines and if you didn't eat what ever was available you would go hungry for like a day or two or something.
In those kinds of cases.

I guess this is just another one of those reasons I'm an atheist. Ain't got time for all that stuff. Life is difficult enough without adding all those extra rules and stuff.

I have to say I agree with light here..
Though I can kind of understand wanting to well stick to your guns on sticking to the rules.. type of thing if that makes sense

I'm very on the chaotic good/neutral side here.
If the rules are in the way of survival or good then screw the rules.

I'm an atheist myself (I consider myself one, but I am legally a protestant), but I think that religions can have their rules, people can abide them as long as they don't do any harm to anybody.
