@Kuuki, I think it's Perfume too! I've never read it and barely recall the plot, but your comment reminded me of it, so I Wiki-ed it. It was briefly discussed in class. xDD

You can change the weather depending on how your umbrella is positioned. Open over head, rain. Closed and hanging off your arm, bright sunshine. In its bag thingie, windy, maybe? You get the drill. xDDD

(Now I think about it I can't really imagine it's anything else so yup, let's go with Perfume. I usually don't remember much of books/movies I didn't care for so if I remember it it means it's good.)
