I grew up on 90's country.
Shinia Twain and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Tim McGraw, George Strait, Toby Keith, Travis Tritt, Alabama, Brooks & Dunn, Trisha Yearwood, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Willy Nelson, Randy Travis...

When burnable CD's became a thing, my friends made me copies of their stuff...

Linkin Park, Green Day, Marylin Manson, so on so forth. =w= Then when we moved, previous tenants (or the cable company) forgot to cut the cable to our apartment and I learned about ANIME!!!! from there I added on to the anime music with non-anime Jpop and rock and visual kei and EVERYONE hated it >:D

except mom.. she'd tell people "My daughter knows japanese!!!" =3=

I know the Japanese I do because of anime. I like that they say sound effects instead of words.
I like that there's different ways to say "I".

90s Country was the BEST. I even like country that's older than the 90s too.
I never listen to Country anymore.
There's so many great country songs and people just dismiss them as only being about drinking and trucks and all this stupid stuff.
Nah, there's some really emotional country songs out there.

My family would constantly tell me something was Japanese and I always correct them.
Writing in Japanese, Chinese, and Korean aren't the same.
I can't read them but I know how to differentiate them xD

The many ways to say 'I'.. Depends on ones gender and the setting they're in. The casual to polite is interesting. I'd probably offend someone... =w=

Favorite Emotional Song: Concrete Angel - Martina McBride

QnQ

My aunts did that once. o3o I was like "No, no... that's not Japanese! >:x Japanese isn't so loopy! That's Korean!"

Surprising they never asked about Chinese and Japanese, the two most easy to confuse o3o

well chinese also has many ways to say "I" as well, given different genders and stuff.....although they all sound and are pronounced the exact same way, the characters are different.....xD
