That poem that is basically 'shi'.. or something... =/ someone showed it to me once and I swear it was just 'shi' but each 'shi' was a different word

I was told that every word was 'shi' but had different meanings..

oh well chinese is like that lol. you can have similar sounding characters and they all sound almost the same just with different tonal pronunciations and they all mean something totally different. xD

then there is this small thing that sits on the night stand that has a carved Kanji... I think that kanji is 'love'. Can't remember =w= i tossed it somewhere.

Also have a Geisha like doll thing that is suppose to be stuck to this stand but it wobbles. Little black kimono purse bag thing with red sakura patterns stitched in... other random crap that I've lost over the years.

I prefer it over the creepy bobble heads she use to get me ._.

Welll Chinese is like that lol. Although I dunno, mandarin and Cantonese sound really different sometimes. XD like my Chinese name, in Cantonese jyutping is Kar Yan but in mandarin, it’s Jia Xin. So…yeah it’s weird lol.

no no, its normally called pinyin but the cantonese version of pinyin is called jyutping. so its only two readings/pronounciations: Kar Yan (cantonese), Jia Xin (mandarin).

and i agree, Jia Xin sounds better......xD but i'm cantonese and on all my official papers, its written Kar Yan. XD
