Hm, maybe I should cause power outage in my building so that I can focus on writing? . . . Oh, wait, I write on my laptop, nevermind xD I mean, technically I could write in a notebook for a while...

I should try turning the wi-fi off sometime, set up an hour or two just for writing and see how I do. But I'm not ready yet, that's so drastic xD

What seems to be the difficulty? :o

I went without internet at my house for two months (luckily in the summer when I was in school and not doing online summer classes because I would have died then) because it just stopped working and the stupid provider wouldn't send anyone out to service it. My mom had many choice words for them because she called so many times. The guy who did finally came to fix it was lucky my mom was not home at the time. Anyway, I thought I would you know, go read a book, work on a hobby I was putting off. Nope. I sat there bored when I was at home because all I wanted to do was get on the internet.

Oh my, so it's true, we ARE addicted to the internet! You'd think one would do anything to not be bored even without it!:mcgasp: I should go detox, but how?! There should be a National Offline Day, announced like a month ahead and then all the providers should turn the switch off. maybe that would help I really don't think so, it would probably cause riots...

Do you think our ancestors just sat there being bored all the time? They must have had tons of ideas to get themselves occupied with something, right? *is in pre-panic mode*
