Hmm, I would have been the same if not for a fairly outgoing person that started chatting with me in my newbie thread. xD Other than than talking to her and one other person, I didn't post much elsewhere, though.

Same here. But this site has more emphasis on social than other sites I've been on. A lot of them you could do fine in the game without ever clicking the forum tab. Not so much here, but I think I like it that way. I like to imagine the Material Trades thread as a bustling, chaotic marketplace. Yeah, I'm weird. x3

Re: gradient shading convo from days ago: Tried to do SOME gradient shading in flash. I'm not sure what to think... Flash was being kinda weird. ^^;; Here's the pic: >link<. For some reason, trying to do a linear gradient made the whole glob of smoke-color join as one big gradient, even though it's separated by lines on the same layer. But I switched it to radial and then they all split up. I need to fiddle with them more probably, and maybe add some other non-gradient shading to the smoke. And, y'now, finish shading the characters. XD /ramble

Way I want to do with the gradients is overly them on the colors/cell shading. The gradients would have to have transparency to them.
