Yeah I was sleeping on it and with that system it wouldn't really be a contest anymore, right?

Maybe I can do the contest part every other month and in the month between paying for clicks?

no, it wouldn't be a contest... a contest needs set prizes, yes.
if that works for you, maybe you should do that... but that might really dig into your FP. Maybe just leave it for a month...
