Gift cards are even more expensive, unless you get them produced it numbers of thousands to pay off the costs again. Absolutely not an option for such a small site.

Is still planned, but we have too many other projects (mostly battle) we are focusing on right now.

Has it been suggested or discussed to have more layers on the avatar? I know there are some items like arm warmers on undershirt layers and stuff like that. To be able to layer more would be cool.

We already have really really many layers. Basically each type of items has its own layer and adding more would only mess up avatars. Lips go in lips layers, layering two lips over each other would look stupid, headpieces go in headpieces, layering two headpieces over each other would look horrible, layering two shirts over each other would be a mess and so on. I cannot really see the use of more layers. Since each item type has its own layer, it would in 99% of all cases mean that you would have two items of the same kind ion one spot.

What about auctions for older items? You could have one once a month or something and people buy tickets for older items. It'd be a good gold sink. The only thing I could see being difficult is that there's no donation/gifting option so you'd have to accept every trade.
