(You've not been on in a while. Antibiotics stopped working or you just got busy, or..?)

Tired, but could be worse.
I really hate tick season.
How's work been?

Oh man. I do not miss ticks. Has it been horrible?
Pretty good. I'm still really liking it. And money is always great. Hubs is planning budgets for us to get us out of debt. So that's exciting.

Yes. It's been really bad this year. I keep finding MORE of them, and wake up each night from nightmares about them, and it's awful because the washing/drying machines don't seem to kill them? So you can't just do the 'eek ick yuck eek' shuck your clothes, get them off yourself, shower, wash the clothes, forget about them for a moment of relief. You have to go over all your clothes carefully right away because if you just dump them the ticks will crawl out and get who knows where and just...
*deep breaths*
I really hate ticks.

Maybe you could try boiling your clothes? Surely that would kill them.
One time I found a tick on my inner labia. I almost died of shock and disgust. Or at least almost fainted. I felt real woozy. lol.

Wow, we don't have these as far as I'm aware.
Though our dog managed to get one, and the turtles we had at the public garden were full of them and I tried taking them off but they must been there for a while.

If your dog picked one up somewhere, you have them locally! I guess just not as many.
What eats ticks? There must be some predator out there, I wish I could breed tick-predators or something, keep a bunch around...
(dump them in a big cauldron and boil them? We don't have anything big enough for everyone's clothing, though.)
That sounds horrifying and scary!!
(Also, YAY for budget plans and getting out of debt! I'm cheering you on!!)

I didn't know turtles could even get them. lol.
I think bats eat ticks. And maybe moles? Not positive.
Ooorr. You could just put them all in the tub and fill it will pre boiling water. Like boil a bunch of pots of water at a time and then just pour it on them? And just stir it with a stick or something.
It really really was.
Thanks! I appreciate it. We're working on saving for a car and paying off our credit card. It should be paid off in about 7-8 months.

I don't think that would kill them. I mean, the "sanitize" setting on the washing machine didn't kill them, so....
