I have no idea then. Does your house have lots of trees around it? Maybe you could try for natural bug sprays or something.

Lots and lots and lots of trees/woods, but honestly the fields are worse. The tall grasses are FULL of the things. You can walk outside to go do some weeding, arrive at the area you want to work in, and then before you even start you stop and pick off a dozen ticks, freak out, and run inside to shower and change and have a mug of herbal tea and try really hard to calm down and not even get anything done....

Ticks need to die.

It didn't used to be this bad...

Maybe something changed in the ecosystem, or conditions in general so there are more of them now.

Oh god. That's horrible. Maybe you should take a scythe to that grass? Or burn it. Fire must work against killing ticks.

Raze it all to dust, let the wind blow it away with all the topsoil, spend the next years unable to grow anything? Eh. Maybe we can do something like spread out weighted-down tarps over all the areas we aren't actively using? SOMETHING. There must be something.

Have you tried researching it? I'm sure others had a similar problem before.

Yeah, raze the grass. Plant moss instead. Nice non ticky moss.

Okay, that's what my afternoon today will be like. Finding ways to get rid of ticks...
