Swagbucks is the only place I trust so far.. but apparently the company that owns them also owns Inbox Dollars...

I NEVER gotten enough to get a cashout on IB, but I have cashed out with Swagbucks. It's how I had been buying my Manga and Light Novels ;3 I didn't want to use mom's money for my hobby o3o

That's a very cute plant, DK!

And it's great you did a good job interview, even if you were not the perfect match for the position.
Sometimes it takes a while to find a suitable place.
I wish you a lot of luck!

Hey, kitti! Welcome aboard!

We call anime to the Japanese cartoons, and manga to the Japanese comics. So I guess Pokemon is your only anime :mccute:
My son loves it too!! We even bought him Pokemon cookie cutter for Christmas and now we bake Pikachu and Charmander and Squirtle :mclaugh:

So.. I decided to start my plan of paper art. Or try to at least.

Back when covid just started, I finally managed to get my hands on the Natsume Yuujincho movie. (Natsume's Book of Friends: The Ephemeral Bond. In this movie, a woman did this Paper Art for a living and it was just beautiful. I looked into it and it's actually a thing!

Soooo With my stimulus check I ordered the Paper Cutting Knives I'd need which came with a small cutting board. I also TRIED to get a lamination machine (mom wanted it too for her own stuff) But that didn't work out.. the seller only had one in stock and two people trying to buy it. We weren't the ones who got it.

I also could never manage to get the actual paper I needed either =/

But... since I'm having trouble finding a job job... and people make money of their art... why not try to do this while I job search (or till I get on SSI)

I was thinking of starting small, bookmarks and maybe OC character art in these styles:

Oh, that's so cool. Crafty people impress me so much - cause I'm terribly clumsy.

You will try Etsy or that kind of website, or do you think it can sell local?

kitti: Hello welcome to the thread :3
What're your favorite Pokemons?

It's good to make money off of artistic stuff.
I know some people have told me I'd sell stickers if I made them.
I don't know how to do that \u8/

I don't know what's the fee on those websites though.
I mean, if you can sell directly to your costumers you'll have a greater benefit. If you use a website I suppose they'll charge some kind of fee - but you may have greater exposure, which is worth a lot.

I suppose it takes a bit of testing.

well you might have to set up your own site...or do something like commissions. but its all about exposure, and style and whether people will like your stuff or not. 8U it all depends on the consumers and what they want.
