I'm late! Been a bit busy. XD I think popcorn had a taste of lard because I remember it was made back in I think the 1800s or early 1900s and lard was widely used then.

I love spicey foods and sweet foods.

Wasn't there an archaeological dig somewhere that found popcorn from 5 or 6 thousand years ago? I bet it just tasted like actual corn....

edit: I think it was in Central America?? Maybe? Shoot, that was a while back, now. I don't remember.

Akili: That sounds good! I can't handle spice, but I love it when it's very limey.

Hi Candy!
Interesting :o

Yeah, I just wish I could figure out how to get it to taste of lime without dissolving the popped corn in the lime juice too much!

Oooh.... I totally understand that problem. Have you tried powder?

powder? You mean, like dry the lime out completely and grind it up? But then it'd be mostly zest instead of zing, wouldn't it?

Oh no, haha xD You sure have a chef's mind! Just a lime powder :)

... the only lime powder I know is powdered limestone which I mostly see used in the context of sprinkling some down outhouses every once in a while to keep the smell down....

really not something I'd ever put on popcorn?

That's a good idea! I'll try that!
