I don't really care about guilds and I don't like that some game make you participate in them. Same with ones that make you add friends to be able to play. It's a lot harder to find people who're casual and who won't remove you over the smallest thing.
In the end the games I ended up playing the longest would need to be logged in everyday but overall don't take that much time in the day.

I know you're required to in Shop Titans, but there's plenty of quiet/dead guilds to join
Course, the larger and more active the guild, the more everyone benefits

I like the community aspect of everyone trying hard to get gains for the group. Also, I like being one of the lower players in a guild, so I get all the benefits for people far above my level and also I get motivated to keep trying harder to catch up with the others XD

Oh yeah, that's nice
Tho at this point in the guild I'm in I'm one of the higher ones lol. Or at least middling

Oh, it motivates me as well, but that motivation also makes me loose a lot of time in the game.
One of the ones I quit was like that, once I joined a higher level guild it was crazy. Way too much time lost on events. I realized it was too much when I started playing events instead of getting into the pool next to me. And I quit on the spot.

Most of the events in Shop Titans you can easily ignore
Major ones being holidays and the Lost City of Gold. Former is a bunch of decor you can buy, as well as apparel for your shopkeep, and of course blueprints that you pay for, but they're all optional. The latter is a quest one that uses up to 5 heroes at a time for loot. LCoG is reoccurring, about once a month
There's also mini ones, like haggling costs less energy, faster quest and rest times for the heroes (which you send them off and then pick them up after the countdown finishes, etc), which are more temporary boosts than anything else

Most of the games I play are fashion based. Meaning that the events are limited items, meaning I, obviously, need to get them all.

I seem to have a specific style I prefer in games lol
Which means about 98% of fashion game events I don't care about

I love fashion games but I have that collect em all personality so I just can't play them. I already spent way too much money on that type of game in the past and had to cut myself off.

I'm the same. But I, thankfully, hate spending money so at lest it never went that far.
