Yeah, cooling slowly vs cooling it abruptly makes the flavours develop very differently. It's the same for coffee, if you want good cold coffee you need to pour it directly on ice cubes after you brewed it.
Also, I find that ice tea needs a lot more sweetening than warm tea to taste good, somehow... But that could just be a matter of personal taste.

Same here, Nikki! I like a cup of tea on a fall or winter evening to relax and warm me up, but coffee is my lifeblood! Or, as the Knuffel say, can't have too much blood in my caffeine system ;)

I don't drink a lot of tea and I don't like coffee. I drink soda, water or chocolate milk.

Pepsi, mostly
If we have milk and clean cups, milk
Occasionally mountain dew, root beer
When we go out to eat I usually get water
Or if it's early in the day, and cold, hot chocolate
Dinner might get a chocolate milkshake if I'm in the mood

With meals I mostly prefer just plain water as well. Except for breakfast, where I have coffee, of course, and some fast foods that I like to have a coke or an ice tea or something like that with, because it feels fitting to me.

I agree about the sweetness in iced tea and hot tea :)

Kit, there is a lot of stuff in there i have heard of, but haven't tried. What does root beer actually taste like?

I usually for for water.
If I am cold I drink tea, usually black or green. Also one cup of black tea with breakfast.
I drink coffee at uni or at home, when I am tired. Or I go on coffee dates with friends.
If I am out for dinner I usually go for sparkling water or iced tea.

I think I haven't tried that.

Oh but a bakery here has this amazing dark moccachino... so good!

I like chocolat-y coffees as well :) At home I mostly sweeten my latte macchiato with caramel sirup though, that's nice as well :)
