Sometimes you just have to be seen by Corbin and he assumes that hey you're gonna pet him so he starts purring...even if you never noticed him in the first place

Aww, that's so cute. Glad you managed to keep her for that long.
Which reminds me of our cat, we had her for 11 years but unfortunately had to put her down at this point. The poor thing went blind when the first she got her first stroke, we had hopes but after several months she started getting them all the time and it just got worse.

And then Big Guy gets butthurt because you didn't see him either and he's not a chatterer, so he will most likely be overlooked, unless you pick up on him giving you a dirty look

Jazz doesn't notice being overlooked
Doink loves attention. Even moreso if she's in an attention whore mode. When that happens, she twines around your legs. Dad wears pants and shows all the time, so she always ends up being kicked by hom cuz she's not pressing hard enough for it to register
Rufus doesn't really call for attention anymore, but if he wants some, he approaches you and settles in
Mop is hit or miss on attention from everyone most of the time. Unless he's paging me. Then the hairball wants to sit on my boobs

I remember when there was a big hurricane, people left their pets behind.
I kind of get why, but I'd do my damnedest to take mine.
Even if we all have to sleep in a car >_>

I really want to get a young cat so I can really bond with it. It doesn't have to be a kitten, just pretty young.
And maybe I could teach it some tricks.

Rufus knows sit, up (stand on his hind legs), handsome man (rub face on fist), and shake
Doink knows up and will occasionally shake

I've seen cats do tricks.
I think a lot of them want nothing to do with humans except food, water and litter box cleaning xD

My Kiri got out yesterday and we walked all over the neighborhood and we called to her.
She was under the car and didn't even bother to let us know xD
Then when we found her, she refused to come out <<
