Nothing good from Tsar Trek? At all?
I am uncomfortable using the kitchen when other people might be around. And the macaroni cheese isn't getting any less rancid. Might as well eat it now.
What is done to convert yogurt to frozen yogurt? Is the Pot involved?
Sell the dairy products. Make a food cart. Leave grad school forever.
Sort of. Maybe. I don't know.
How much gore? Is it as bad as Pan's Labyrinth?
Nope, not ordered yet. Oops.
Why? I get full value out of my Prime account and I don't really want to share my Amazon account. The browsing history would get weird. I'll order things for you, if you want, though, and I'd be happy to share your Netflix. Netflix lets you set up separate "channel" type things in a single account, right?

There was one travel guide to Russia that I think was made for a study abroad program, and, like, two mediocre cartoons. You'd think there would be more of a bounty.
You are not required to eat rancid cheese. You can save the noodles and make your own cheese sauce. No one is required to consume rancid cheese.
It turns out it's super easy. It's like the bag method of making ice cream, but with longer time and better results. 1 standard yogurt container + 1 cup of sugar, mix in a freezer-safe bowl. Put in freezer. Every half hour, smash up the frozen bits with a whisk or spatula to inhibit crystal formation and prevent the whole thing from turning into a solid block of ice. Three hours later, you have pretty good froyo. You can flavor it, too, but I didn't bother.
Do you need a second opinion? I have plenty of opinions.
I haven't seen Pan's Labyrinth, but the gore wasn't particularly bad. I closed my eyes for two brief moments. The worst of it isn't shone in any detail. Del Toro's weird fixation on facial injuries made a brief, obscured appearance.
Get on that then.
It just seems wasteful to pay for two identical services. I enjoy the value I get from Prime's video streaming, and wouldn't mind sharing, but if you don't want to share that's fine. I'm not as devoted to the free shipping or the occasional discounts. I would maintain my own, non-Prime, account for normal browsing under any circumstances.
Yeah, Netflix gives you user profiles within an account, so you wouldn't have to tolerate my weird preferences.

Sounds like a niche that has yet to be exploited.
Sounds gross. You can't eat macaroni without cheese. You need the cheese.
Or let it turn into a solid block of ice. What's the harm? You can lick it just as well. Standard yogurt as in a single serve yogurt, or a tub? What sort of whisk are you working with that you can smash things with it?
I think I like one of the ones I already showed you that you liked. I don't know. Her line art is good and she posts a lot on Instagram.
Does he have a fixation on facial injuries? The worst offender in Pan's Labyrinth was beating someone to death with a glass bottle. It was horrifying.
Maybe I will.
Just seems creepy to have you creeping around on my account. And I don't really mind paying full price for a service I appreciate. Student costs less than $50 and it more than pays for itself.
If you wanted to share a Netflix account, I bet Dad would be willing to subsidize.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'm the chosen one who will bring Tsar Trek to the masses. That will have to fall to some other worthy.
That's why I said you should make your own cheese sauce! No one is telling you to eat plain macaroni!
Tub of yogurt. A... normal whisk? The metal kind? You don't need to do very intense smashing as long as you check every half hour. If you left it any longer I suppose you would have to beat down more substantial crystals.
Why don't you know? Tattoos are one of those things where I think you need conviction.
How did I manage to typo "shown" to "shone"?
I got the impression of a facial injury fixation when we toured the art exhibit, and other people have noted it as well. The Shape of Water certainly didn't have anything as bad as beating anyone to death with a glass bottle. Almost certainly. Unless you are sensitive to different things than I am.
Watching Star Trek is hardly creeping. There isn't much else I even want to watch on there, so it's not like I would constantly be lurking on your account. Still, it's your account and your privacy if that matters to you. I just don't want to pay the hundred dollars to renew mine once my student privileges disappear in February.
If dad is willing to subsidize, netflix might come to less than $50 a year for me, which is certainly intriguing.

Get Rosemary to do it. She likes art.
The cheese is inseparable from the macaroni. You don't know what you're saying.
Sounds suspicious. I don't know how to feel about this recipe.
You don't need as much conviction about which artist if it's a tattoo most people can do well. It's just a flower. Lots of people tattoo flowers without incident.
I don't know? Your head stores homophones together and sends them out to your fingers?
I didn't notice. I can't remember even one. Maybe I have a facial injury anti-fixation. Perhaps I will acquire it on Bluray.
Why do your student privileges disappear? I still have student. You are a student.
And then I would mooch for free. Very intriguing indeed.
Did you check out the SSB meeting? Cheap! Convenient! Topical! Your advisor might even think it's a good idea.

Rosemary might think it's a little weird if I drop in on her facebook page after years of zero contact spouting nonsense about puns. You're welcome to do so, however.
It is suspicious. Suspiciously delicious.
Lots of people have very mediocre tattoos. I think you can demand more than mediocrity.
Getting it on bluray would probably be worthwhile for the family.
Speaking of "the family", I'm concerned that our current Christmas viewing habits have a gap. We watch Tokyo Godfathers and The Hogfather, but not the obvious midpoint between them, that is, The Godfather.
You can only get a maximum of four years of Amazon Student, regardless of how long you're in school. I suppose, technically, I could get a completely new Amazon account and get another four years with my new student status, but I don't really want to do that.
Dang. I looked into it more thoroughly over lunch and it looks like the cheap netflix I had been looking at only gives you standard definition and one viewing screen at a time. That would mean that if one of us was watching, the others wouldn't be able to use netflix. Non-ideal. The next price point up brings the yearly cost to like $130, which is a lot even when split with dad.
I can't tell from their website how much of it would be really relevant to me. Is it mostly molecular stuff? Have you been to one of these meetings before?
I'm trying to train myself out of double-spacing after sentences. It's painful.

That will make it more believable. You would only do that if it were important.
I disbelieve.
Lots of tattoos can be done well by many people. It would not be mediocre.
Maybe. I'll consider it.
I don't think The Godfather is a Christmas movie, but I'd be happy to watch it. I've been asking to watch it for a while now. If only to recognize references.
Oh. Well, I am happy to order things for you. Maybe Star Trek is also on Netflix.
We're in different time zones. It's fine. Of course, your assuming a subsidy would be 50%. What if it isn't? He often complains about having too much money and nothing to do with it.
It's not just molecular. There are morphological systematists. There's also a workshop for species descriptions that might be useful for you. I've been to meetings before, but not SSB. Just check out their journal if you don't know what kind of stuff they do.
Don't do it. Fight the power.

Again, you're welcome to do it. You understand the importance.
Then why are you not completely sure? Either this person is good enough to give you the tattoo you want, and everything is good, or they aren't, and you need to look elsewhere. Is simple.
The Godfather is probably not a Christmas movie, but we can't neglect such an obvious intermediate. Good transitions are key to good viewing habits.
I don't know how to check what's on Netflix without having Netflix. Maybe there's a creeping option?
He complains about that, but then when it comes time to actually spend money on something he suddenly can't justify letting go of a single dollar.
I can't find on their website anywhere that it actually gives the cost of the meeting. I found the membership prices, but those say they offer a reduced meeting price without saying what that reduced price is.
I've met all of the people organizing this meeting. It's weird.

It can't be me. They'll know.
What if they don't have off-street parking? What if they are too intimidating?
Are they? I have been having good success alternating between inane Buzzfeed videos and episodes of Hannibal. What sort of transition would you propose for that?
Try googling "what is on netflix now" or perhaps "netflix tv."
He's much better when you remind him of his complaints. He doesn't want to look silly.
It's $300 for all non-members, $110 for grad student members. Since a 3-year membership is $75, it's a good deal. They also have some grants that are only available to members.
Perhaps there is a special discount for OSU people? Do you know any of them or their students well enough to ask? Or your PI might know. You can talk to your PI about maybe going to meetings. That's a thing they're for.

Clearly you have to do a dry run where you scope out the tattoo shop while in disguise. Black hoodie. Shades. Park, go in, stand in the corner, refuse all interpersonal contact, slink out again after five minutes. Only then will you know if it's the right place for you. If you can't even park, you can skip the following steps.
Depends on the titles of the Buzzfeed videos. It's all about title transitions. "Hannibal" is a tough one, though; it doesn't sound like many things.
Netflix is surprisingly tight-lipped about its content. I can find third-party lists of what's current, but they're all "30 Best Shows Currently on Netflix", and I really don't want the 30 Best Shows. I probably want shows that are ranked in second and third quartiles.
I'll talk to John about it this week. He doesn't talk much to the local systematists, so he might not be able to help me, though. Oh, wait, I take a seminar with one of the organizers. I guess I can ask her.
I have rarely felt so defeated. I had big plans for the Instant Pot today. I found a recipe for pressure cooker caramelized onions, and I wanted to pair it with the potato recipe I had made two weeks ago that turned out so tasty. It was a failure. The onions failed. The potatoes failed. Three pounds of each. I wound up with some sort of savory onion sludge. I don't even know why the potatoes failed, because I did things the same as last time. They wouldn't come to pressure, and they burned. I wound up mixing the onion sludge with the survivors from the potatoes, but it's not a glorious day in foodville.
