That's astonishing and appealing and makes me very happy!

Now I wonder how I can track my progress with it? That's always the trick. >.<

yup! That's a very pretty way of putting it. The best examples are m o i, Agriimony and AlkseeyaKC. Mikael Hart and Firn and such are very recognizable too, but they're less active (Firn due to keeping the entire site running alongside starkad)

but there's plenty of others that have developed a style uniquely them. I call them avatarartists, cause you can pick them out in a line-up as being of their own style (even though all items are in the same style they combine it in a way that's just 'them')

I find an easy way to keep track of things, to use the dreamavatars. You can save them. So if you find something you like now you can save it (under a name or a year or whatever) and then later you can look at them and see how much you've grown.
I recently went through them and deleted most of my old avi's. They were soooo bad. I know that now I often still miscombine things, but overall I've improved A LOT and I love it. Some people are beginning to see a style, so apparently I'm growing towards something... Same as Chrizine.
Kuuki's easy to pick out as well once you know them. there's always something from the personality shining through. That's what I love about kofk.
with limited items, they've managed to put enough character into the items and not lose themselves to a TOO large diversity.
I love it... :qh:

Sorry for the wall of text... :mcheh:

*pokes wall... a letter falls out... the whole thing collapses*
o.o
*backs away*

I found Knuffel from an adopted knuffel signature graphic that someone had in their sig on the site I frequent called Solia. It was too cute not to click and now I'm hooked. If this was just an adoptables site I wouldn't be that into it as I tend to avoid those. But the avatars and the forums and the events too? Yus please.

I think most people stay for the avatars and the forum with it's events and lovely people... The knuffels and roomitems are just a very nice bonus...

*starts building small igloos and castles with the letters from the broken down wall of text*

Oh, I remembered to roll numbers again: 496, 381, 350

Also, Vin, your explanation is of course way better than anything I would manage to write about aviart :)

Like every 10 mins!!
Jokes, but at least once a day ...

And wow, I missed out on an interesting conversation!!
I agree with Vineda as well!

I seriously have not thought of any avatar website like that before.
But you are right, they really do teach you aesthetics.

And why does just saying aesthetics reminds me of an image on facebook ><
(Okay, so i tried to google the image, but cannot find it)
Instead I found this and this is absolutely amazing!!
Really cool pic!!
*edit* I am not sure how this would work out (and yes, I have been thinking about it since i posted it)

If you google "wave energy" They have some pretty awesome devices already in use to harness the power of the ocean but they're not nearly common enough.

Ooooo, I shall google that!

It's a real shame that we all rely on coal.
My twin is doing environmentalist science and she terrified me with one thing she has learnt!
"The emissions in our atmosphere are from 50 years ago"
And back then was no where what we use now ... so yeah fun times
