Ganesh Ch...? What :D?
Anyway, nice that you have a day off ^.^
My day has been productive so far and seems like it going to continue that way. Just finishing a few things at home, going to the library afterwards to get some books for a paper. Need to iron... Going to work on the paper again and going to meet some friends in the evening :) So looking forward to that.

Wait, googling Residence Palace gives me a palace in Brussels, I thought you were located in Germany Julez?
Day off sounds good! :)
My new semester starts next week, so I'm trying to enjoy my last days of freedom. Trying, because I'm sadly kind of sick :( And we wanted to visit a medieval fair tomorrow, I hope I'll be healthy enough again to go.

Oh whooops, sorry, weird. Did not expect that. If you simply google "Residenz" it is the first and second picture :)
Oh no, sorry that you got sick while having had plans already.. :( I hope you feel good enough to go to the fair tomorrow!
One week left? Crazy, I still have on month until uni strikes again.
Did a French language evaluation test today and I kind of got B2.1. NEVER would have expected that. I thought I get A2, B.1 max.

Haha, google is sometimes a bit unpredictable and adjust what it shows you based on your past browsing behaviour ;) And Residenz is kind of a common name for palaces ;)
For me the first picture is of the Münchner Residenz and the second is the Würzburger ;)
I'm pretty sure I've visited the Würzburg one before, but I don't think I've ever got to see the one in München. I was at München once, but it was on a school trip, and we didn't visit it.
It looks really pretty though!
I'm hopeful, I feel better than yesterday already and we could in theory also go there on Sunday if I don't feel well enough tomorrow. But we had planned to go tomorrow and I'd prefer not being sick anymore anyway ;)
Yeah, since I study in Switzerland, semester dates are quite different from german ones. We start earlier and we switch semesters already in the Christmas/Silvester break and then the spring semester ends again at the start of June already.
Wow, congrats! What did you do the test for?

That is true ;D
Well yea it is the second one :)
Nice that you have been here before :D
I haven't seen the one in Munich either :o I really need to see all our castles..
Fingers are crossed that you can go tomorrow :)
Aaaah I see! Are you studying there for the whole duration of your course or is it just for one term? Isn't it expensive to study (& live) there?
Thanks! I want to do a French class this term, but as I already had French at school I needed to see which proficiency level I have, so that's what I got :) Didn't expect that after 5 years without using it :D

It was ages ago, when I was a kid though :D I could probably visit it again, I don't remember that much.
I'm sure you'll manage to see the one in Munich at some point :)
Thank you! I'm hopeful, I've been really feeling a lot better today.
Yes, I'm studying there completely, not just for a term. It is expensive to live there, the studying itself is not terribly costly. The university fees are similar to what we had in a lot of places in germany when I started studying.
I actually don't live in Switzerland anymore for cost reasons, I live in Germany again, just behind the border, and commute :D
That is cheaper, or at least I can get a nice flat together with my bf here for not more money than what I would have to spend on a room in a flat share in Zurich itself, provided I'd even manage to find one...
I used to live in a student house that was pretty cheap in the beginning though, I got really lucky there.
Ah, nice! I should try to reactivate my french as well at some point... Did your uni provide you with the test to find your level? We only have some descriptions of what the levels mean and need to figure out what we think we can still do by ourselves. Or have a meeting with a language advisor person or something that helps with that, but that seems overly complicated to me.

Is Chief Kim the same as Good Manager? :o Because if it is, I've been wanting to watch it. Mainly because of the actor >>;;
My favorite kpop girl group is Mamamoo :D And then the usual BTS, EXO, EXID,... honestly I listen to every.

I hope so, I still have so many palaces and fortresses on my list :o
I am glad you feel better :)
Ah I see, makes sense :) Nice that you live with your boyfriend and that it is affordable to live in Germany and commute :)
Oh yea, student housing is the best thing ever. I couldn't live any cheaper here.
So are you actually from the area near to the Suiss border?
Yea it is time to get back on track with my French :D
Our uni provides us with the test, we have them in all the languages you can study at our uni. And you actually have to take a test, provided that you have previous knowledge. If you don't know the language yet you obviously start with A1.
It sounds super weird to me to let the students guess their own level :o
