@Light: It felt like a while! scrubbed out a pan and put up a new braid of garlic and swept the kitchen and ate and played with the dog. If it wasn't very long it sure felt like it. :P

You know how when you harvest garlic there's still a lot of tall skinny green stalks? It's not so late in the year everything's entirely dead/frozen yet. So you can braid the stalks together like a daisy chain but instead of flowers you have bulbs of garlic poking out here and there, and then you can hang it up by the braid to a nail or hook or whatever and have a decoration as well as convenient holder for the garlic. But when you've used up most of the garlic, it's time to compost the braid-part and get the next braid from the root cellar or pantry or garage or shed or attic or wherever you keep them.


I agree, the hairs are super cute! What all have you already gotten? Are you working on the hairs first?

Yes, I ended up with a complete duplicate set of the flowers. Sold all of them, and have piecemeal been buying individual *additional* ones to further fund wishlist acquisitions.

But between that, totally working on those purses.
