*hugs Rayven instead*

I am now mom to two vintage CPKs. One is brand name, but a Koosa cat. The other is one of those little clip on dollies from the eighties.

Neither of these guys from the eighties has the baby powder scent, but I'm glad of that because it's one of the few things that stuffs me up and triggers allergies anymore. I soaked my bathing baby CPK to make the scent less. Never had a CPK as a kid, myself, and over the years the ones I bought, like a flower fairy, were so highly scented that they made me congested. And I didn't know about buying the old ones online, so I've just been wanting for thirty years. LOL Did find some homemade ones in thrift stores when I was in my early twenties, but gave those to my little sisters because I thought they were more doll deprived than me.

I never thought about the scents triggering allergies ._.
I know some candles and air fresheners trigger headaches for me, but never toys.

I always wanted a lot of porcelain dolls. So many people say they're creepy, but I always loved them xD
I'd even watch them be sold on one of those channels where they show off stuff and you call in and buy them.
In my life, I only had...two porcelain dolls I think.

My dad lived in this small town and this lady would hold showcases of all her dolls she's collected.
She had a whole building set up with her dolls on display and people could go and see them.
It was so cool.

Yeah, I like those 8u
I always wanted a room full of porcelain dolls.

I find it so weird people are scared of dolls, honestly.
It's like people who are afraid of mice.
I don't get it.
Dolls are beautiful and mice are adorable - how are they scary?

I don't know if you know about them, but there's these scary dolls called Living Dead Dolls.
I have three of them and I love these dolls SO much.
My mom asked me "Isn't it scare to fall asleep with those dolls looking at you!?"
I said "No, they make me feel safer. Like if anything tried to hurt me, they'd protect me because I'm their mama 8u"
If you're interested, I'll take a picture of them and show you 8>

You've shown me your dead doll babies. :D I think some of those are cute too. I also like the weirder Monster High. And I have Kewpie and Lalaoopsi.

It irritates me sometimes when people won't stop calling my dolls creepy. I've pointed out that their MMO characters are dolls too!

Erm. I know why I have a fear of wild mice. Deer mice can make people sick, and I once lived in an old house where the mice were so thick they ate our toys and house plants. But tame mice are adorable little soft things.

Most of my dolls aren't porcelain, because I hate to think of them falling. But I have one that's the size of a toddler that a friend gave me. And I've got a reproduction of a vintage German china doll (the ones with the molded black hair and painted eyes) on hold on Etsy.

I miss Monster High...People said they stopped selling good so they were discontinued, but there's dolls at the store that look similar >Bu

Psh. Dolls aren't creepy >Bu
Well....maybe if they're made to look creepy u8

I dunno if you're interested in horror and stuff that much, but there's a character in the new Resident Evil game that talks through and controls dolls.
Since I love dolls, especially intentionally creepy ones - I was so excited for her story and part in the game.
It was over so quickly and it irked me so much.
I love the character and her design and they just...I expected way more and was let down.

That's understandable - to be scared of something carrying sickness.
It's like how I love snakes and I don't get why people are afraid of them.
Being afraid of a poisonous one makes sense and I'm scared of those too.
But if they're small or just not dangerous to humans, I will pick them up.
I picked a wild one in the yard last night without any issues.
My mom freaked out said "It's trying to bite you!!"
It was just scared. Even if it had bitten me, its teeth would have been so tiny it wouldn't have hurt ._.

Oh, yeah, porcelain ones are very breakable xD
One of mine I had broke :\
I wish I had taken better care of them.

Monster High was selling fine, til they listened to all the parents of small children "Frightened by them" and cutsied them up and took out the joints. The older buyers stopped being interested once they did that.

Not into horror at all. Lived it too much as a kid. Though there are some things that people think are horror that really don't register that way for me.

Awww. Too much hype and not enough substance, huh?

Moi-Weenie the cat. XD

*waves really big and falls over*

True but funerals aren't as tiring. XD

I know. Just pretend you're rich. XD

Maybe it would be easier if I just assumed that too. Hallucinations aren't as scary. XD

XD You need to tell your family to quit food shaming you. *shakes head* They're not shaming me, but every time I get something to eat my parents ask me what I'm eating. Because they're nosy and probably want some of it. XD But it annoys the heck out of me! I've told them a million times that I don't want to have to explain what I'm eating. They have eyes! *growls*

Very true. *nods* I do all the weedeating here because it's harder. Dad gets to mow with the riding lawnmower. XD My mom and brother don't do any yardwork. :/

Yay for the new cat! :qg: Oh Momo! XD If she has babies I want to see them. :mccute:

What a ripoff. XD How did the flight go? I've never flown before. :qsob:

I don't know why people get scared of things that aren't scary. *shrugs* Like snakes. I love snakes!

That picture is neat! :qg:

There was a big king snake in the yard last night. When I went to bring Max in from going potty he was about 2-3 feet from it checking it out. Every time it moved Max leaned backwards. XD

Tam-*hugs* Congrats on the new dolls. :qg:

I had a CPK when I was a kid. She wasn't very pretty. XD

Yeah, like how my mom thinks the moves on the Lifetime channel are fluff. O.o It's all serial killers, stalkers, etc. No, thank you. Those are scary to me.
