Well, perhaps it is just that with the change in weather, those in the northern hemisphere have more work to do outdoors and those in the southern need to deal with upcoming harvests? (Or winter prep, if their harvests are over)

Oh, okay. We're well into storm season here, which is what I associate with spring in this area. I can't wait to go home; we don't do spring storms at home.

I'm staying with my sister, who lives with her husband in Minnesota, in the United States. It's in the upper mid-west, kind of the middle of the country, and bordering Canada, and it's in that tornado-alley sort of thing. Spring weather is very tumultuous.
