Our cat used to do the same.
The moment the cone went off she'd start licking her stitches and would get so mad that we yelled at her and put the cone back.

Yeah, so I just gotta keep an eye on him and hope like heck he doesn't start licking when I'm not there
Course, when I'm gonna be sleeping or some such I also flip it up

When I was going through chemo they had me on a pill to stop my period entirely
Cuz blood loss
It had a side effect of permanently infertility. I wish that had occurred

Me too.
I was going to do the sterilization thing but I wanted to not have periods. So I went with the IUD. It was kind of painful. And they have to go through the vagina so be ready for that.
Yeah you don't wanna lose that much blood when you're getting chemo.
Dangit. Seems like infertility rarely happens to people that actually want it.

I did have a liiiiiiiiiight period at the beginning, but after that I didn't have another until the next year, and that one was also light
I know. And I oculdve gotten red hair but instead I got curls
Fortunately said curls were only to the first six inches of regrowth so they're gone now cuz they finally got cut off
