Every time I post in here, I get the urge to go make crumpets. Except I've never made them before. But I always want to anyhow.

Who here has actually had crumpets before, and how difficult are they to make?

But if you get around to making them and like how they turn out, do share the recipe here! I would love to try them!
Also, I feel like we should have an official, crumpet-approved crumpet recipe on the front page of the thread one day ;) So every new crumpet could easily make them for themselves to know what they taste like :)

Yes! That's an excellent idea! Then I could just follow that recipe and see....

I don't normally cook by following recipes, and very rarely measure anything, so I am not the best one to try and come up with a recipe.

Ah, I see! Well, maybe I should just try to find one and try it out myself. It will probably have to wait till after christmas, though... Pretty busy at the moment.
