I don't have a microwave, nor a rice cooker.
When I want to reheat some rice I simply toss it in a pan...

Yeah rice cooker is a must in an Asian family lol. After all, its a waste of electricity to steam rice on the stovetop all the time…8U

I think every culture has an staple carb. Energy!
For us it would be bread, or potato.

Yeah and for us its rice. XD cuz Asians without rice is like.8U i dunno.

I have a rice cooker o3o it's a pain in the butt to clean. When everything is done cooking, I empty it out in a bowl and set it aside to cool... then after it's cooled I soak it for a good long while then wash. o3o

the ones in anime look easier to clean ._.

How is it a pain to clean? 8U like all i do is take out the pot thinger inside the cooker and wash that. It’s really not that hard…xD;; how does your rice cooker even look like?

the rice gets stuck on the bottom, and because the pan is metal you need to let it cool down before putting water in it so you don't warp it. so the stuck rice becomes even more stuck and harder to get off so you have to soak it.. then scrub like hell which kills my carpal tunnel x-x

and it's not even burned on.. just stuck there =/
