Right. But we don't have to do that now because my mom is home u8
\8u/ muy caliente
I think I try to avoid mirrors the best I can.
I actually had a big vanity mirror that I had taken down because it creeped me out.
It was in front of my bed and I didn't like it, so we took it down.
My mom was like "The mirror scares you, but not your creepy dolls 8u"
DAMN STRAIGHT.

Good! Yay! Congratulations!
Fuego! :V
Yeah, I don't like mirrors in front of my bed, either. But I do have full-length mirror next to my bathroom. Not as useful as when I had it next to the computer so I could look at myself and pose while I draw for references. But yeah, I tend to look in any mirrors I pass by. I'm so narcissistic. lol

Yeah, a lot of people tell me they pose for their own art.
I couldn't do that myself I'd need two other people helping me xD
I sometimes look to see if I look presentable.
But I don't really put a lot of effort into my appearance.
Speaking of which, I found some old eye shadow and wore it.
I felt slightly prettier too xD;

I've had my brother help me take photos of myself so that I could see what a pose looks like that I couldn't see from the mirror. But usually I use the mirror for hand positions and such.
That's great! I remember you saying that you don't like how you look with makeup on so I'm glad that it made you feel prettier!

An artist I like talked about using figurines to help you learn poses and shadows.
I actually wanted to do that, but I was afraid I'd get...criticized for it.
But she made me feel better about it.
Yeah, I'm glad it helped me. I actually have horribly dry skin on my face.
You can peel layers of dead skin off easily.
I've tried washing it with certain soaps and using lotion, but it doesn't seem to do anything.
And when I'd wear foundation, I looked like a poorly sculpted mask xD
Just bumps and ridges and flakes.
My skin is dry but also oily =_=

Why would you? I want to get one of those figurines, too.
What I like to do is put foundation on patches on just places that have blemishes and blend it out instead of putting it all over my face. Kind of like a lighter version of concealer. Feels more natural to me.
I have horrible dry lips, myself. I'm always peeling off skin off of them in big patches. Gotta exfoliate before I put on lipstick or it'll come off in patches with the skin.
Hmm... I wonder if your skin is oily because it's trying to compensate for the dryness after you keep taking the oil away. I like to wash with cleanser only after I've been outside and otherwise just wash with water and then moisturize. I've also had good luck with coconut oil on my face but you've got to be careful with it because apparently it makes some people break out in acne.

I don't know. It felt like I didn't come up with it on my own, so I cheated.
I feel that way a lot.
I have a handful of figurines, but the store that sold most of them closed down.
So I don't know where else to get cheap ones >Bu
Well, that's some fancy talk 8u
I don't know how to apply makeup, so I'd slap it on xD
My lips need Jesus. I don't know what to do about them. I had a dentist stop working once and put lip balm on them xD;
I've tried all kinds of face wash. I started using witch hazel, but I didn't keep up with it.
That's supposedly really good for skin.
My dad called yesterday and told me to take care of my health.
I told him "I know, Dad >>" and he told me that my uncle died.
My uncle was mowing the yard and had heart attack and my aunt came home and found him.
I wasn't that close with him, but I always loved my aunt and my cousin on my dad's side.
I feel so horrible that she had to come home and find him.
She already had my grandma die and now her husband.
It's so terrible and unfair.
She shouldn't have to deal with that.

You can't get everything from your imagination. You need to base it on foundation and foundation comes from real life. I'd say even better, you should be looking at real people and how their features cast shadows, but figurines would be more accessible.
Basically, if you've got spots that are different colours from your skin, I'd put the foundation in a little dot over that area, and then use my tool (fingers, brushes, whatnot) and rub it in like you would lotion until you can't tell where the foundation ends and bare skin starts.
lol surrender your lips to Jesus lol I thought you were saying you need to sing praises to Jesus more or something. My dental assistant put vaseline on it but it makes me itchy so I had him rub it off.
I actually heard witch hazel is an irritant. It makes you feel good at first but it makes your skin worse the more you use it. I don't know if you get cetaphil but I started with their cleanser. Now I use Neutrogena's and CeraVe's gentle cleansers.
That's so sad. I hope she's doing okay. Are you going up to see her?

I know that, but it's one of those things where the voice in the back of your head scolds you.
I hate that voice.
>>
I need to learn how to apply makeup.
I always see people do it in a way I never knew.
It's artistic.
Mine's just an abomination.
u8
I hate things being on my lips. My lips feel....smothered.
We can't go see her. She lives about 6 hours away and my mom can't leave town and my aunt works so neither can go.
They had his funeral Saturday.

Yeah, me too. That one sounds super illogical.
I have trouble putting on makeup myself. Right now, my right eye is darker than my left eye. But it's okay because once I wear my glasses my eyeshadow disappears behind the rims wheee orz I just try to go as sheer as I can and then build it up, but I'm not used to using cream shadow and it keeps setting before I'm done blending so it looks pretty patchy and not clean but again, the glasses gets rid of all that XD
Really? I think vaseline, yeah, but most lipsticks feel so dry on me that I need to pile extra stuff there to keep it feeling normal. At least the matte ones.
Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure they understand, though.
