if I don't feel like answering the door I hide

sometimes that's a bit hard when I've got music playing loudly

Whoops, it gives you away! I suppose you could always get a barking dog and use that to drive people away... your neighbors might complain though.

Cats are quite nice, yes. I get to catsit again soon for the sweetest little kitty. She's so shy at first, and then she comes out and flirts with you and wants to show off her hunting skills..... until you move too quickly or suddenly, or something makes a loud noise outside, and then she's back in hiding again.
Really a sweetheart of a cat, though.

I usually hide from knocks on the door as well ... LoL :mcheh:

Also I love the sound of the words "Crumbly Crumpets" :mclaugh:

I usually wait a bit, people aren't that patient to wait for somebody to answer the door. Unless it's someone who knows an older lady lives here, then they can get pesky XD nonetheless, my first instinct is to be quiet and wish them away :mcargh:

Now you have me thinking about door knockers. They can be so neat looking, and sound so interesting, but even if you have a door knocker up, a lot of people just use their knuckles on the door itself as though it weren't there. I wonder if they don't even know what it is? Or maybe they're afraid to use it/ think it's just decorative?
