Lack of motivation

Eh, in my opinion if it's personal art, motivation isn't an issue. Now, if you're doing art for someone else, commission or what have you, then yeah, motivation (other than money XD) might be a problem.
But with personal art, you either do it or you don't.

They go hand in hand. lol.

Motivation is nice. I wish they bottled it.

When my motivation drops off I always get depressed. :}

Yeah, that will help make depression worse.

What helps increase y'alls motivation? I need tips!

Not sure how applicable this is to art, but for me, starting to do whatever it is I'm not motivated to do usually helps. I like to trick myself into starting by setting some time limit (like half an hour to an hour in the future) and saying to myself "I'll do the unmotivating stuff X until the time limit and afterwards I'll do fun stuff Y, but only if I really did X during the time". It can lead to just working on X and forgetting about the time limit, if I was just unmotivated but doing it is actually not that bad. And then it feels very good realizing at some point when you want to stop and look at the clock to see how long you still have to continue that you're actually way over and can just stop and have fun as soon as you want, with a great conscience.

Ah, that sounds like a pretty good plan. I'll have to implement that idea.

For me it helps if I get challenged. Have something that I need to do. :}

See that just makes me super anxious. That makes me unable to do things.

I also don't work too well under pressure. If I know I really really need to do something or the consequences will be bad, I can end up just being so afraid of doing it that I feel sick and just sit in front of my pc shaking or crying for a long time before managing to actually start.
I work much better under bribes with fun stuff I'll get to do later instead ;)
