ha ha, that was funny. You listed that history, and my immediate thought was "people were eating candies that had been thrown?" and you guys were instead talking about it hurting.... I don't think it would hurt if you were just gently lobbing them. A small toss isn't going to hurt. If you really wound up and pretended to be a baseball pitcher, maybe, but who'd do that?

I prefer confetti over candy when it comes to throwing xD
I used to go pep rallies and the cheerleaders would throw candy.
I'd get hit every single time. Candy hurts. >8u
