What do you mean, silver linings?
Oh, I'm pretty sure i'm just stressed out from work, it's a difficult point for the team. I think I'll go to sleep earlier a few nights in a row and i'll be better :) hopefully

Trying to find the good in a lot of situations that have come up. The shop that I work for is going out of business, so I have to find a new job, mom has cancer, mild depression, abnormal stressy stuff. I did a tarot reading which in quick terms said that this year would be tough, but it'll get better. Right now it's not looking to good and it's only the beginning of the year... But I'm trying to stay positive so there's that.
I believe in you~ I can understand that situation. Going to sleep earlier can be helpful as long as your body doesn't wake up earlier. Do you live in the states? I think the Daylight Savings thing has been throwing some of us for a loop as far as sleep patterns go, and it's especially hard if things are stressful at work. A nice herbal tea can do wonders for having a very restful sleep.

Oh, wow, that really doesn't sound good. I wish you and your mom strength for this year. Is the cancer in further stages or early ones? And good luck with finding a new job. I know it get get rough. Do you live in a big city? It's usually easier there.
It's great you're trying to stay positive, what you give is what you receive, so maybe you'll get by this tough time.
No, I live in Poland :) What's Daylight Savings? Is it some initiative?
I try to avoid tea because I have trouble drinking enough water during the day and tea dehydrates. If I drink it before bed I'll definitely wake up for a bathroom break in the night and that won't help me at all xD I sometimes wake up for that even if I don't drink before bed.

We're still not into BST here which is really confusing. I have a call every week with my friend who is currently in the US for a month or so. The first week after she arrived, 10am her time was 6pm my time. Now it's 5pm my time for the second week of her trip. By the time we have our last call, it will change again because we'll go into BST at the end of this month.

Thanks on both parts. They caught it in the early stages, so she has a lot more options and better chances. I don't really live in a big city and it seems to be to much hassle to get a job in the city as I don't drive. But hopefully since it seems a lot of places are hiring It will better my chances of finding a good one with benefits since I get cut off from my parents insurance this year.
Daylight Savings time is when we change the clocks one hour either forward or backwards. So a week ago we lost an hour by 'springing forward' at 2 a.m. Daylight Savings ends in autumn when we 'fall back' at 2 a.m. and gain an hour. It's become outdated as it was used for train systems and saving candles and electricity.
Ah. I don't drink nearly enough myself and seem to be in a constant state of dehydration.

Early stages, there you go, so it's not completely bad. My grandpa didn't want to go to a doctor until he was in the later stages already. He suffered through the treatment and didn't make it. Same goes for my bf's mother, but unlike my grandpa she was diognosed earlier and didn't do much about as far as I know. She got into remission and then it hit her again but she refused to go to the doctor until it was too late for her. Stubborn people, truly.
If a lot of places are hiring, then maybe there's a chance or two for you :) Are you looking for something in particular or just anything you could do?
Aah, so it's time change then, I didn't get it XD I mean I knew, but I forgot you were calling it that. We're going to change our clocks on March 30th/31st here. I wonder why you guys do it earlier than us?
Maybe it's beacuse of the tea :D Jk. I downloaded an app to remind me about drinking water. It's handy and kind of cute. And free. It's called Water Time, I think. I discovered that if I don't drink enough fluids I get terrible bladder infections very frequently (like once i two months or so, each one worse than the other). But it stopped after I began drinking more water. That water app saved me xD

I'm glad this is one thing my mother isn't stubborn about. I'm looking more for an office job as that pays more and is more steady than an artistic or crafty job. And I don't truly have to deal with people face to face, which is even better.
I thought the US was the only place to still do it honestly. I have no clue why it's done so early, the date for the start of it seems to change every year just about. I still thinks it's outdated and needs to be chucked out the window...
I typically don't have any problems outside mild headaches. But that's not to say that if I don't change my ways there won't be major consequences later in life. I've been better about drinking more water recently, especially since I drink a lot of alcohol (rare occasions, but enough on those occasions to drink some men under the table) and black tea. I have a 32oz water bottle that I fill up every time I take a break from knitting or gaming, so every couple of hours. Though the days that I forget my water bottle or travel mug at home are the worst days. Feels almost like a withdrawal of some type.

You never know with the office jobs, they can make you deal with people. That also depends on the job, but usually yeah, you're right :) Is it hard to get it in the US? It's pretty hard here in Poland, they have ginormous expectations. The ones with less expectations usually tend to involve some customer service, so dealing with people :')
Nah, changing the clocks is still in use in many countries. Our government intended to get rid of it but Idk what happened to that idea. People didn't like it or something.
Withdrawal from life, I guess

I also feel terrible when I don't drink enough. Yesterday I had two glasses of wine because it was my dad's b-day and I felt dehydrated so after having drank that I only asked for warm water XD Especially I worked out in the morning so I should've drank more water than usual.
