Part of me is still thinking/feeling like its November still and the other part is both 'omg Christmas!' and 'omg wish the hols were over already so I could get some routine back' at the same time c':
maybe its a good thing they'll probably fly by fast in the end anyway. You could always hold a little post-Christmas mood for your niece when she's fully recovered? c:

yeah... She was finally aware for five minutes today, so that'll be a long way from now (and now she's got a high fever again, so make that a LONG way)
but I did promise while she was still asleep, that if she's recovered enough by next year I'll take her on her first ever skating trip to make up for the winter she'll miss this year...

That's a lovely thing to look forward to <3
Who knows she might get a Christmas miracle ~ I'll light a candle and pray for your niece tonight before bed c:

I just tried to go on Lacemarket and it crashed on me. Even the shopping sites themselves are trying to stop me from breaking my shopping ban c':

Have you tried to bend his leg, is there a bump or any sign of a bite or such on his leg?

there's no bite
the leg seems kinda swollen
he doesn't seem to be in any kind of distress when you touch or move it tho
he just can't walk on it

He might have pulled it in a bad direction while playing, which'll cause some discomfort but if he doesn't mind you bending it then I doubt its hurting him. So thats good at least c:
He's probably just not walking on it/supporting any weight on it cause of the discomfort. I'd wait and see how he's doing tomorrow o;
