I am sorry to report that after untold years of use between various users, my junker WinXP has finally given up the ghost. RIP, I may or may not give it a viking funeral. Or I'll just throw it into the next electronics recycling drive.

As luck/fate would have it, since my sister was given a non-used (and very much on sale) lappy for Christmas, her old one happens to be open. So my main workhorse will be a laptop with a non-functioning keyboard. It has Win 7 and it's far more powerful either way, so I'm very appreciative. :P

I'm sick, I've been having shitty nights and I woke up after midday to the doorbell ringing and someone knocking on the door. I thought it was my mother coming home (nobody but family is allowed to knock on our door because you have to open the front gate to get to the door) so I went downstairs and opened the door wide open, there was nobody there and Kimi darted out the door and I noticed both the garage gate AND the front gate were open

I ran upstairs to get a robe and bolted into the god damned rain with only slippers on because I thought I heard her moaning I s2g I thought she had been run over already but thank god she was just barking at the mailman

it was a nice smiley mailman but damn son he should NOT have knocked on the front door, scared the living shit out of me

What a way to start the day indeed, goodness. At least you found her quick and she's okay!
