The taxi driver the other day suggested a lawyer to me and I looked him up today... o3o he kinda looks like snart from legends of DC and the Flash.. o3o <3
I think I'll choose him for that alone.. xD ignore the fact that he's one of the top 10 SSI lawyers of my state >w> Nope.. ima chose him cause he sorta looks like my favorite Legends of DC actor. x'D

Yeah, if you have too much money, they'll say you don't need SSI.
Like you can't have...I want to say it's $3,000 in your bank or they'll be like "You don't need SSI!"
Which is STUPID because it's life insurance - not actual income you keep getting Bu
People who are elderly and disabled get money to help them live because they can't work.
But then people don't want to give them too much as if they'll be a millionaire or something.
Like they upped my mom's SSI but took away a lot of our food stamps.
I can assure you that even if we'd kept the food stamps - we'd still be struggling.
So they acted like the small amount extra they gave us would make us be too comfortable so they just HAD to take something away from us.
Can't have the sick/elderly/disabled living too good you know?

Rich people want to become richer. I can understand that.
But being so mean as to suggest that people are poor because they deserve it, that's cruel. And that's what they are saying when they take away the help people need!

Hotarla: most SSI lawyers take out money from the SSI when we get it. not sure how much though..
Moi: one of the questions I was asked was if I had more than 2000$ in my bank account, so here we're allowed even less...
Amura: a lot of people think, if your aren't physically disfigured in some way, you aren't disabled... they even accuse people on crutches and wheelchairs of faking it.
There was this one story I heard, this lady has a hard time standing. She can stand for short periods but that's it. So one day she was at the store in one of those electronic scooters for the disabled, stood up to get something off the shelf, and got attacked for 'faking' disability and 'joy riding' the scooters.

Yeah, a lot of working class people attack the elderly, sick, and disabled instead of the rich.

Yeah, you can get back pay depending on how long they made you wait to get SSI.
Lawyers get a cut of the money you'll be getting.
It could be $2,000 here too. I just thought I remembered it being $3,000...
Like when we got the stimulus checks - we were worried about having too much in our bank but we didn't have any issues.
A lot of soldiers who come back home struggle with all kinds of issues.
Some can't physically work and need assistance.
The same people who claim they love the soldiers will see one homeless or in need and tell them to get a job.

Just thinking of all the things I need and won't be able to get because I have to use my insurence on rent and bills ... =3=
I need a proper couch or two love seats in the living room, proper shelves for my movies and manga... a new mattress for my bed, proper PC desk
I also would like to take all 3 of my cats to the vet to make sure their healthy.. Sebas needs fixed, I want someone to look at kuromi's back... and zeke is old so i want to make sure he's alright.
=3= ugh...
I need to get the mail but its raining and my knee hurts too bad >A<

yay for sabre coming back! <3
i hear its supposed to snow.....i'm getting a lot of conflicting weather reports lol.
my ipod says its -4C and snowing. my Windows Start weather widget also says its -4C but its mostly cloudy. and then my weather widget on my taskbar says -7C and mostly cloudy. 8U which one do i believe lol?
*peeks through her blinds* doesn't LOOK like its snowing........8U
