What you said yourself, only thing that's really visible between 1 and 5 is the flower. And I'm not even sure if it should be counted as knuffel evolution. If someone asked me to describe stage 1 and 5 in short sentences it would be "Boy in black shorts and top" and "Boy in black shorts and t-shirt". Long story short: he hardly changes at all and he's same thing in stage 1 and 5.
You could start with something much simpler: boy only in very short shorts (no bandana or top) and very short hair. Then in next stages add white top, then make it into t-shirt, add print, make something visible with shorts and hair, add small thin bandana, then next stage make it bigger with print etc. You should add bit more elements as well to add more to evolving, but hard for me to suggest something since he's your oc, so not sure what would fit or not. But yeah, bigger shoes, socks, undershirt, purple strands in hair, body parts (for some reason cat ears and tail seem like they'd fit him).

I know he's your character, so changing him a lot might not be something you'd want to do, but I think it'd be cool if he became that flower! :)
I know you likely don't want to do that, but just looking at the pics made me imagine it. ^_^

@ amalath - thanks! ^_^
And yeah, cat ears & tail really looks cute on him! >w<
@ TimTam - I was thinking of making flowers grow on him O_O
He'd be a part of the flower O_O

I think that would work if that's what you want. It means he changes from an ordinary boy into something different so would fit the whole evolving thing. ;)
I'm curious to see what you do. :)

Hey there, i wonderd if i could get some advice to improve my knuffel so he won't be rejected again ^-^;;
I made my knuffel when wild knuffels were just new so the rules have gotten sharper, wich is why i'm asking for some advice :)
My knuffel starts as a tramp to end up as a merchant, but one of his features is that he has a basket wich will fill up with stuff during his stages. But i also gave him 2 boxes to show an increased wealth. Here's a preview of what i mean:
-X-I actually don't want to get rid of the boxes, they are practically a part of the knuffel but they aren't direcly connected. Any suggestions how i can make them fit in the rules?
