Actually they're not the same

Heard of black sapote/chocolate pudding fruit? That one actually makes good chocolate cakes..

There's one like custard apple but I don't think that was the name, I had some of it, it was so good. But you have to eat it all like straight up.. or it goes off and stinks badly lol

Nice idea with the water bottle quarter thing.

Huh. How about that. Though it does say that both smell like anus. And I am not into anus smell.

Nope. Not at all. Never heard of it.

A thing I've read is to fill a small container of water, let it freeze, and then put a quarter on top. If it falls to a power outage to the bottom, everything in the freezer has thawed so in all likelihood it's bad
But that's only really a thing to worry about if you live somewhere that's regular with outages, imo
We get the occasionally, but most tend to be only for a handful of hours, nothing dangerous to the fridge or freezer. Surges, when the power blinks, are the second most common. The one we had that was about 50 hours of outage? Very rare, and when that happens, the outage is extremely widespread
So if all you get is the rare surge, you'll be fine
Oh, I like that trick! I'm going to use it.

I've only ever had jackfruit canned, never fresh, but I love Durian. I don't understand the way people describe the smell of it; to me it smells just like chicken salad. Well, unless you let it rot, which would just be foolish; everything smells bad when it rots. Then again, I usually keep the fresh Durian fruit frozen until I want to eat it, so... :qsweat:

Yeah, it is funny how if you grow up with scents and flavors they set your standard and then you can't understand how other people are bothered by it... I remember talking to someone who was convinced that cow's milk didn't have a flavor.
Um.
Yes! Yes it does! And it's pretty strong! Just because you think of it as your 'normal' and sort of only register variations from that, doesn't mean it isn't there....

It's a bit like accents that way, I guess? You never really notice your own accent.

Oh yeah. If I come across it I'll try it. I love to try new things.

Jizz smells awful. lol.
I've never smelled a naturally decomposing corpse so I can't really compare. All the ones I've seen have been embalmed.

I don't know how anyone could think milk doesn't have a flavor. Maybe their sense of smell sucks.
