@Chrizine: Yeah, I can balance. It can confuse folks I live with, but I know how long things take me and can be like 'yes, I can take a 20-minute nap' or 'yeah, I'm good to make some avocado toast and go work out'. :D
And other days I work well into the evening. I'm salary so it just happens when it needs to happen haha. <3
@River: :(
That's rough, good luck. *hug*

I can work from home too, but only on things I enjoy working on, like writing an article or editing a paper for someone. If it was my actual work, like customer service helping ppl who are yelling at me then no thanks.

I have to stop and appreciate that you're a writer, MissNikki. That's awesome! I love reading so much but haven't the drive to write, and so I really admire it (and appreciate -more things for me to read!) that there are people like you out there creating.
It's surprising to me how many people on KofK are creators of various types. A couple of other writers and a number of artists and a few who I have trouble finding a good term for.
You do editing, too, you say, so do you mind if I ask what the most common stuff is that you have to fix? Are there some errors or issues that seem to crop up over and over?

I tend to write a lot of poetry and do quite a bit of free-writing.
As for editing, I unfortunately have not had an editing job in quite a bit. The most common things I usually see though are run on sentences, sentence fragments, and apostrophe errors. Lots of small spelling mistakes, as well.
