tbh, i don't think i've read an actual book in a long while. like...holding it in your hands, reading pages after pages of WORDS. xD;; its mainly been online reading these days.

I totally understand when someone just doesn't have the time/energy/whatever to post here regularly or on a daily basis.

In fact, I happen to have a depressive phase again since the beginning of last week. I've secluded myself a bit and since I have to mask so much during the day my mood gets extremely worse in the evening. So I don't have any energy to be socially active. Since the beginning of this week I couldn't even join any Discord Channels to talk with my boyfriend and/or friends.

Soooo, today arrived a package from my boyfriend. With some of my favourite treats and a sweet card to make me feel better I bawled my eyes out a little bit but was extremely happy about it and it touched me how caring he was.


And I just bought a new book today which I hopefully will star reading this year

Idk, maybe with that cookie-shoving thing I wrote sometime earlier, I tend to be ecstatic whenever there's someone new in my hangout

Is there any reason for the depressive episode?
I'm probably having one myself, tbh. I really don't feel like doing much, if anything, even waking up or taking everyday care of myself.

I got a few packages, too, but I ordered them myself, also to treat myself xD I bought a few crystals, a "witch's hat" (it's super cheap but super cute at the same time, lol), and an agate necklace. Oh, and two fidget toys for my mom.

I have so many books to read still I still hope to somehow hit the goal of ten books by the end of this year. I think I'm on book 7. Been "reading" it for months XD

Haha, don't worry I love people who get ecstatic! Society is way too harsh when it comes to extreme happiness. So I always encourage the people around me to express it as much and loud as they want!

Well, I tend to get seasonal depression every fall/winter. I just didn't expect it to happen this early. Also, I'm stressed because of university. I'm shortly before my bachelor thesis and I'm really freaked out about it. So yeah, a few factors come together and forward each other

We're together for almost a year, 21st november will be our first anniversary And yeah, we're long-distance since we live 2,5 hours away from each other. It's doable but we only get to spend time together ever 2-3 weeks.

Well, a treat from yourself is awesome as well! I'm not into witchy things myself but I looove looking at them So enjoy the items! Crystal juwelery or juwelery with stones in general are so beautiful!

We should definitely normalize extreme happiness. People are so tight when they see somebody openly happy they immediately think they're coo-coo. Or maybe it's just me. Lol.

I'm just bipolar, so yeah, nothing extraordinary by now to have an episode of lower mood. At least I'm not completely spiraling down. Thank my doctor for the medication.

I'm super into witchy stuff, to the extent of, dare I say, I'm a witch, lol. Not hexing or cursing anyone though, more like manifestation spells and rituals, and tarot/oracle cards divination. And I'm obsessed with crystals. I went to a mineral expo in mid-October and bought a few gems (translation: I spent all I could, lol), and two days ago I still ordered several crystals off of the Internet It might be a compulsion, ngl XD
I usually don't do Halloween costume thing, since it's not very popular in Poland, but this year I've decided to get into the celebratory and fun spirit of Samhain, not just the "burning candles and praying for the deceased loved ones" that I've been doing for the last two years. Not to say I plan on going to any party, I just wanted a pointy hat XD

I usually read fantasy, but two years ago I started to read also books on witchcraft-ish topics, and also decided to expand and read some classic novels of manners like Pride and Prejudice. Haven't touched it yet, though, because I got stuck at that book Moonology XD
