Just got invited to turkey linner (lunc/dinner around 3pm) at the in-laws. Get to meet a few of the fam I haven't yet. So that should be interesting. Wish I'd had a chance to get my hair done yet, but alas.

Your plans sound nice!
We do not celebrate Thanksgiving much here in Germany. My family and friends don't do anything on this day.

Congrats to the winners!!
I think only America celebrates Thanksgiving. Can't really see why other nations would celebrate it, unless to have a good excuse to eat delicious till they drop (witch is soooo fine by me

)

That's why I asked, "Or if you're not in the US talk about when your friends or family get together for a meal."
Sillies.
Also

We put wheat in bowls and let it grow througout december. The bigger it gets the luckyer you will be the next year.
It's not a really big hollyday in other countries, but it's said that sf. Andrei brought christianity to Romania, so the Government decided to make a big deal out of it and gived us an extra day off :)

I'm having Thanksgiving with family friends that we've been having Thanksgiving with for over 20 years... they are letting us stay in their home as we prepare to move out of state.
Won't see them as much, probably won't have Thanksgiving again. It is... exciting. xD
I love them but I am completely ready to turn over a new leaf! (and they can totally come visit, I love them to pieces) <3
