I was kinda busy myself.

okay so *sigh* I've been using free music on my videos with the appropriate license (that allows youtube ads to run) BUT my vlog was flagged for using music and I couldn't run ads on it even though the music license ALLOWS for ads. I've been up all night and only went to bed at 5am because I've been nonstop editing that video with multiple songs with that license but because I'm not talking youtube flags it anyway and all the revenue from that video will go to the music maker. which I would understand IF THE LICENSE WAS DIFFERENT aaaaaaaaagh this is so upsetting. every time I have to edit the video it takes half an hour to save and another half for YT to process it :< just change the gosh darn licensing of your music to not allow revenue in the first place so I don't lose my time!

don't feel sorry for me either way because I haven't seen a single cent yet from my videos so XD I'm just angry for the sole purpose of being angry, not because I'm losing money

you should be angry about that, IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE. i have no idea how you can fix that problem. ): im so sorry. also that scares me. i wasnt really planning to use free music anyways since there will be the game music, though i was considering it for my intro video.

Yep, YT is hilariously bad at that. And it never makes sense every time. Money or not that was a lot of work. :/

It's not even youtube's fault (surprise lol) it's the person who licensed the music to allow revenue but tells youtube "if this person runs ads with my music then the money goes to me" BREH

@Vee; don't worry, I wasn't flagged like you hear on youtube all the time, I just got a notice saying "don't worry, you don't have to delete the video or change anything but if you runs ads it'll go to [music creator]" so it's not like my channel is in danger at all. and I COULD have just said okay bc my channel isn't big enough to give me any money but it's like. right. I AM using your FREE with COMMERCIAL LICENSE music my man. but my video is about my day and I was the one who filmed everything and edited it and it has my face and my words on it. so like? at least I get to keep 50% of any profit I may get? but then no. and I can only imagine how many liters of piss would flow down my pants if by some miracle my vlog became popular or some shit and I couldn't see a dime of it because of the music

OH okay i get it, thats really dumb still though. :/ why would somebody do that? like you said, the video isnt about their song its about all the stuff that you contributed, you created and its about youuu you are the artist. ehhh. but yeah like you said just use different free music. thats ACTUALLY FREE :P
