I'm not adding any to the bank... i'ma shove the rest into this lockbox mom had.. only take out 400$ for bills/rent each month.. i'm sure this would totally screw up my section 8 if i added it to the bank.. they stalk my bank statements >->

Well there’s nothing you can really do about that. If SSI believes that you have enough money, the only thing you can do then is argue your case with a lawyer…8U that’s gonna be like sooo much work lol. I don’t envy you at allllll.

If it takes you a long time to get it - you will get backpay for making you wait so long.
My mom said that SSI doesn't care if you have money in the bank - she said it was Medicaid and food stamps that care.
I don't know if it's the same where you live but I thought it was like that here...
My mom knows more about it than I do xD;
