Nachos do sound nice, too. Those are the baked or fried corn tortilla pieces, with melted cheese on them, right? And possibly hot sauce or something?

Now I want Nachos as well ._. Good that it's Sunday and the shops are closed :P

Talking about sour cream... does anyone know how to store them for a long time? I buy some and only eat it for mexican foods, which is not that often... And then it goes past the expiration date :l

Well, it messes with the texture a bit, but you *can* freeze it. The full-fat sour cream freezes MUCH better than the low-fat varieties.

Or maybe you can find smaller portions of sour cream?

Maybe it's easier to just think of ways to use the rest of it up?
(For instance, sour cream makes pretty good muffins; you can do whatever you wanted the sour cream for originally, and then just make muffins out of the leftovers. Or it also does nice biscuits. And you can put it into cobbler dough. Or turn it into something like a clam dip maybe and host some people? Or sour cream makes some lovely pastries. You can do up a flaky cheesy-bread kind of thing? Or even stickybuns. Or, well, lots of things)
