we were taught to call it cv at school. though it was about 8 years ago. and I'm not sure whether it was british or american.

and I wonder if my school experience (not university) should be in the cv/resume because... yes I was going to an english gymnasium but who even cares. it could've been cool in russia but no one even understands what it means in germany because any gymnasium leaver/graduate is supposed to know english and another foreign language. or so I've heard.

I am scared of worth a try topic. what if they don't like me? how soon can I apply again? what do I do with this rejection history?

mercu, yes they were fish eggs that could have hatched. many died in the ethanol. the ones who survived were born with serious mutations. it was very sad.

alice, trying is better than doing nothing! the worst that can happen is you will get rejected - so you are back where you started, but its not like you have lost anything. i know it sucks to get rejected, trust me its happened a lot. the sad truth is that not everybody is going to like you. you just have to take that chance. edit;... reading back on what i wrote after i posted it, im sorry im not very positive xD im not good at this. but i believe in you !! i know you are awesome and if they dont like you, they are missing out on someone wonderful~ /end edit

honestly idk what to tell you about whether you should include that or not! i have no experience with that. >.<

cv is very british. at least from what i know :P everyone here calls it a resume. its very rare to hear cv, in virginia anyways!

Rejection history? In Germany you have to tell people all the places you got turned down? :qno:

Does cv stand for something specific? :o

Also, what's gymnasium in Europe? I can't imagine you mean sports room :mclaugh:

in germany it's a type of school aimed at preparing students for applying to universities. there are several alternatives to universities here and different schools prepare you for each of there alternatives. in russia it's one of the "elite" types of schools, usually with some focus, like english in my case.

cv is british resume. we had british english at school...

no you don't but if they reject you can you apply to them again and how soon - that's what I mean. because they may know they've already rejected you

lol, Lovely, you're precious!

the chemical company that just interviewed me two weeks ago, had phone interviewed me in july but never invited my for an in person interview. while i was interviewing with them two weeks ago, i had to tell them i was basically rejected by another section of their company more than half a year ago. it wasnt pleasant, but the HR guy knew because he looked it up anyways so it wasnt like i could lie !

so i get that. >.< im still waiting to hear about my interview... :/
