you probably shouldn't lie about such things anyway. you should turn them to your advantage XD like you learned a lot in the meanwhile and blahblahblah XD
read your edit my awesomeness
well they're hiring a professional not a cutipie XD
but I'm not positive either so don't worry. I'll be really surprised if a positive reply comes from them (even though I haven't applied yet)

Vee, even if a different section of the company didn't hire you, that doesn't mean you're not a good fit for this one! Like sometimes people are specifically told to apply to a different section because they'll do better there?

Latin
Literally means something like "hire me"

Totally. Some of the time with bigger businesses, it's even a situation where the other sections won't even have any information on you at all. Treat it more like a completely new business, except you know them a little. And you can fill in that blank about "yeah I've been here before."
And most of the time they don't look at being rejected from another section as a negative, unless it's because you're illegal or something.
EDIT: Gosh darn it KOFK, I need to water my pants not fertilize them. :V

Curriculum vitae does not mean "hire me". Also yes it is Latin, all latin-based languages use "cv" not résumé which makes my friends laugh because their nickname for me is cv and they waste no opportunity sending me off as their résumé whenever the opportunity arises

aww you guys are so sweet. i know thats not what it means! it still felt kind of awkward though like.. uh yes they didnt want me... but maybe you will ? ehhhh?? xD
