I looooove mine! I have a pretty light period though so one pair lasts all day, but if you have a heavy period you'd have to use them with a tampon or change underwear multiple times (not that hard if you're at home, but a bit of an inconvenience and a fast pile-up of laundry). I have just enough pairs to last me through a period, so I only have to wash them once a month. The only issue I've had was a pair with too much lace on the edges, where I bled through the lace instead of on the underwear when sitting leaning sideways. But they've changed that design since so hopefully not an issue anymore!
Also, if you wear them not on your period, discharge will bleach the inside and then they'll stain xD Not really an issue, just aesthetics/not being concerned something's wrong if it happens.

Probably, yeah. Right now I feel more pressured to just move out and fuck my family, because I'm the black sheep or something. Not that we can afford to move out now. I mean we could, but then our saving would be all in vain and everything would take 3 times longer and I just want to save up, find and buy an apartment, and then I can cut them off. Slowly. I try to tell Ash stuff right after I notice they bother me, but it's hard for me to even notice them sometimes. Plus he's not a very communicative person. On the other hand, we hardly have any issues at all. If we do, they pass fast so we're fine again. (like my "I wanna baby! D:<" wtf moments XD)

@Kimi: For now I only know that I'll be taking my last 5 days of vacation on 25-31 October. So no additional money for me, yay Anyways, it worries me, because it's already next week, and I still don't have any official info from the management in Athens. Only the unofficial musings of my boss that they will need me anyway. So it makes me feel I should really get my butt together and sit on that cv. I'm still gonna get my last salary in November, so I technically still have one more month of "peacefull" life, but I don't suppose I could find another job so fast.

They're thicker so they do take a bit more than regular panties before getting onto your outer layer, though not a lot. I also like that they have more surface to stick the pads onto. They don't breathe much. And after a while, the vinyl or whatever they have in the fabric will shrink and it won't hold its shape anymore. But they'll still be serviceable. You aren't trying to impress anyone when you need to wear them.

That's ironic how he's kind of clueless about it Maybe next time he'd need help, try to give the minimum you can, not the maximum? (I don't know what your pattern is tho x.x). A healthy bit of selfishness won't hurt you, after all your needs are also important. And if you feel you need to get independent, try to do it.

I'd also recommend these reuseable panty liners, then. They're far better at absorbing than period panties. I usually wear them on days I spot and on those days one is usually enough to last me a whole day.
I wouldn't be able to use them on regular or heavy days, though. They do sell regular pads and heavy pads but those I still need to replace every few hours.

Ouch. Yeah, that doesn't really help, then. I might pee in the backyard if I'm sure no one would see me. I hope it's all sorted out now.

Hmmm, for me I would just have them stay with us for the time. But you have too many people in the house to do that, don't you? Maybe if they have a card but can't use it at a hotel because the abusive person would check the purchases online and find them, you guys could drive them somewhere completely the wrong direction and make a withdrawal/tiny purchase and get cash back and then take them to a cheap hotel and they can pay cash?

They work out to be cheaper in the long run because you can wash them and reuse them.

If they go to a hotel, make sure they tell the front desk people so that they know to make you unreachable if people come looking.
