at the very least if you go to a general doctor he'll tell you whether or not you need a specialist. good luck!

My general doctor has a hard time doing referrals. I still haven't heard from the rheumatologist she was supposed to get me in contact with for my official diagnosis of EDS.

What... you can't change doctor under the same insurance?

I'm not sure what you're asking.
Some specialists won't take patients if they're not referred.

My regular doctor is just fine. She's like the only one who believed me about my pain and everything and didn't just blame it all on being fat.

Well if it gets bad again, I’ll give my family doc a call and he can tell me if I’m fine or not lol.
