I've been through a ton of doctors. I cannot count the amount of doctors that I've seen.
And most of my adulthood has been uninsured so I haven't had a regular doctor for very long.

Oh, wow, so this is really the first time you've had a chance to see what a good doctor (who believed you) could do? I hope it turns out there's a lot, and that you stay covered as long as you need it....

Super frustrating if you went through all that only to find out it's one of those things no one knows how to really help.

Well, it's treatable, not curable.
And I went through another few months of no insurance. I've got it again, thankfully. Now we need to save enough money to actually go to the doctor.

Yeah, that's always a trick. And you have to just hope you get lucky and no emergency happens in the meanwhile!

I have a bad tendency of not paying for my emergency room visits. I don't have 1000+ bucks for every time I need to go to the er. lol.

that does make it hard to save up. But yes, exactly my point. Who has that kind of funding?

I can't even imagine having to budget to pay for a 1000 dollar bill. That's crazy. I struggle with the bills I already have.
