That does sound like an interesting thing to come home to. The last time we had a fire near our house I simply slept through it.
And wild bunnies can be a serious plague as they burrow under places they shouldn't. :}

Yep. I am fairly certain I have mentioned at least once that I ma not fazed by events like that.
As long as it isn't my house that's in direct danger I can sleep through nearly everything. :}

The previous state I used to live in, it's illegal to have a pet rabbit.
But the state I live in now it's legal. I have only seen a real one like once or twice.
speaking of, Peter got me two cute as rabbit plushies :3

Oh really? Rabbits are no Problem at all here.
Like, there is this Season when you are allowed to hunt rabbits. But only in certain Areas.

they're a pest to Australian fauna and other wildlife.
They were introduced to Australia too.

It was fun to come home to
Fortunately the farm isn't on the same road, but just on an intersection, so we weren't stopped
Did end up late for school once cuz some idiotstick managed to get his fancy schmancy car stuck in a tree and then have it fall over and onto the road
Fortunately cuz it was an out of our control thing none of us were tagged for tardiness or anything
One time the bus would turn off every time it stopped, it was new so something was borked so bus driver had the bus at a crawl to drop us off and the next few days had (obviously) a sub bus
And then there was the end of the day on the bus and it isn't turning on
The busses behind us had to back up and exit via the entry and we had to get a sub bus up
FORTUNATELY the school I went to owns their busses and has a bus garage on property so it wasn't like we had to wait half an hour or some shit for some bus rental company
Also, the main entry (there's a side entry for the elementary school, but that's staff parking) is on a rather steep hill, specifically the middle, and the weight rating for that road an empty school bus is way too heavy for
That section of road is flat out 15mph, doesn't matter if it's midnight in the middle of July, you go 15 because bottom of the hill is a four way stop sign and you should not be haring down a hill anyway and if you do and crash you're a dumbass
