Had not thought about that!

Oracle decks are not a fixed set of card?
I've never seen one, not sure how that is supossed to work.
Oracle decks are unique to the theme, art, number of cards, and so on. Each deck is different so one can literally have hundreds. I try to stick to one deck per theme but I saw another astrology deck that I like, but I already have one. :mcheh: Don't worry, I didn't buy it. I will remain strong unless I become a billionaire :mclol:

Tarot and fortune telling is so interesting even if you may not believe in it.

I suppose that if each deck is unique in a certain sense, they are also produced in smaller quantities... and therefore more expensive?
Becoming a billionaire sounds like a good plan though XD

Absolutely.
I'm also skeptical but I find it so fascinating.

It's true, that's why I asked if the reason was aesthetical.
Because I would get it if that was the only reason. Pretty things are pretty!

I don't know if oracle decks are more expensive, tbh. Tarot decks seem to have similar prices. I guess the more cards in the deck, the more expensive the deck gets. But that's pure logic (I recognized as soon as I typed it, lol). It also depends on how rare a deck is, some are constantly sold out.
I ordered two decks that the supplier promised to look for through the world, so it's only a 50/50 chance of actually getting them. I'm sure it's a marketing thing, they never failed me to this day, but I expect they will at some point. Doesn't hurt to still have hope :mclaugh:

I do believe in tarot/oracle cards but not in the way of "ooh, they are magical and foretell your future". For me it's more of a tool to speak to the divine and the higher self to aid me through life. The magic is actually within the user, not the cards. But even I am skeptical at times. It's perfectly normal. I always take my readings with a grain of salt.
You can't really believe the cards will tell your future and it's set in stone, that's not how it works. And people tend to believe exactly that.

Lol def. I would buy/collect pretty things if i thought they were pretty. Although, hobbies like that are pretty expensive so…maybe not. Maybe i’ll do something like collect stamps instead. XD my grandfather did that.

Hey, I collected stamps when I was much younger.
My father used to travel a lot (working in an oil tanker) so he would post me letters from different parts of the world. It was cute.
Then he switched jobs and I lost my source of fancy stamps :mclaugh:
