I did post in plenty of the avatar games, which I rarely do because I get bored of them too quickly.
But if it's worth donuts then I'll guess I'll keep checking them too.
Just doing my maths, let's see how many donuts I can get this month - and hope they are enough to catch up!

I want a lot of different colors of the Vinerys hair, but I'm terrible at being active in forums... The struggle is real lol

This is my first caravan since I was fired XD
(well OK not fired, they said "restructured" or whatever it is they're doing. End result is the same, I don't have a job anymore.)
So I'm kinda glad it's back, gives me something to do XD

Join a hangout!
There you always find some kind of conversation going on, even if it's a bit slow.
You're invited to mine, if you wish
Same for Kitalpha Hart.
Go join my hangout, or any other else. There is were conversation is actually happening.
I tried to created some chat threads in the past, but obviously I'm not good at chosing topics because nobody replied

Euphemisms suck.
Using fancy words to say they are kicking you out.
Good prospects of finding another job in the future?
At least in my country it's not easy right now...

Well, in a way I understand, the end might be that I don't have a job anymore but it's through no fault of my own (since all my "department", if you can call that a department was terminated), they just decided to "start fresh".
It just kinda hurts because that job (remote and part-time) has been with me for a long time and helped me get the courage to leave a toxic job, leave my country and move to the other end of the world and even got me through a pandemic, all things I never thought I would experience in my lifetime, or at least hope I wouldn't.
So it's been a bit hard to adjust.
Thankfully, all of my health/retirement insurances are tied to my husband's job and he makes more than enough to support us so really it's only my own fun money that's taking a hit.
As for job prospect, well, my "main" career was (is?) in hospitality/tourism so my prospects are very close to 0. Especially since my main selling point is the ability to speak several languages and that's completely useless right now.

Aw, that's bad.
All that's related to tourism is quite complicated right now.
Well, there is plenty of beach tourims here, but that's not one that requires job creation I'm afraid.
It's always good that you can rely on your partner's salary. At least you won't see you in a bad place.
But (oh, there is always a but) earning one's money has a positive impact on one's mood imho. It's always nice.

@ Kuuki: maybe you can search for a (or an online) translation job? But I do think it'll get better, people are creatures of habit. Nobody's going to stop travelling, some will, but I think most people will get back to what they used to do. Travel.
There are fewer planes to budapest now, but the parent's who visited us this summer, all were in a full airplane. And still many people just going for a weekend, a holiday, whatever. Not all necessary/business.
Glad you at least have one steady income. :)

@Jolien: I have but so has everyone apparently and people have been more picky. Since translation isn't something I've ever done before and never studied it's proved to be a bit harder than expected. But I'm not giving hope!
Yeah but Budapest is in Europe, borders are harder to close. I'm in Japan. It's a completely different story, the borders are not even open to students/workers. Unless you already live there or have very special circumstances you don't get in, for a while even if you lived here you couldn't get in if you were a foreigner. Add to that that the pandemic is out of control right now, and the reopening of borders to foreign tourists is definitely not something in the cards for the near future.
@Amura: From what I've been observing beach tourism might not be so obviously creating that many jobs but hotels/stores/restaurants around that all see a larger than usual flow of people so have to hire to face that. The only problem is that it's temporary.
I've got a friend who was just working at a beach restaurant this summer but they've just had an order to close apparently so my poor friend is out of a job too.
Yup, dear husband is wonderful
Yeah it's always nice to have your own spending money without having to rely on your partner's. Well, since it's my fun money and I haven't been able to have a lot of fun lately I've saved a lot and I'm frugal so I'll be fine for a while. Or at least I hope so.
